Define a trapezoidal load on a chain of bars

You can define a trapezoidal load that is applied to several bars forming a chain of bars.

1. Click Loads Load Definition. The Load Definition dialog opens.
2. Go to the Bars tab.
3. Click (Trapezoidal load). The Trapezoidal load dialog opens.
4. Set up the load parameters as necessary, and then click Add.
5. In the Load Definition dialog, enter consecutive bar numbers in the Apply to box, and then click Apply. Alternatively, select consecutive bars in the drawing area to form a chain of bars, and then click Apply. The Trapezoidal Loads dialog opens.
6. Select how you want to apply the loads on the bars, and then click Apply.
