To Automatically Weigh Vertices

  1. Select the area of the mesh to be weighed.
    Note: There may be discontinuities along open edges.
  2. In Weight Properties within Parameters, select the weight Solver.
  3. Click the Browse (…) button.
    Depending on your choice, you will see either the:
    • Geodesic Voxel Solver window.
    • Heat Map Solver window.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. The weighting is solved.
    Note: This could take several seconds.
Tip: Hold SHIFT to quickly switch between painting weights and blending weights.
