Appendix A - Licensing

Access the product licensing information.

Licensing

The first time Helius Composite is opened after installation, you will be required to provide your licensing information. You can choose to Sign In, Use a Network License, or Start a Trial.

Note: The Enter a Serial Number option is not valid for Helius Composite 2017.

Sign In

  1. If you have a subscription license to Helius Composite, click Sign In.
  2. If not already signed into your Autodesk Account, provide your login information and click Next.
  3. After the credentials are verified, you can begin using the product.

Use a Network License

  1. Click Use a Network License to use Helius Composite with a network license.
  2. Select the license server model.
  3. Enter the name of the license server(s) running the Network License Manager. Use the format port@servername.
  4. Click Done.

Start a Trial

  1. If you don't have a license to Helius Composite, click Start a Trial.
  2. If not already signed into your Autodesk Account, provide your login information and click Next. If you don't have an Autodesk Account yet, click Create Account.
  3. After you are signed in, you can begin using the product.

After the initial setup, there are three ways to view Product License Information and make adjustments:

  1. Click the licensing icon .
  2. Select File > Preferences > View License.
  3. Select Help > Licensing Manager.
