Collision checks can help track down 'overlapping duplicate' members, members with no connections, problem connections and general collision situations.

This tool checks for collisions in beams, plates, and bolts for an entire model or a selection set.
To access the command
Ribbon: Extended Modeling > Checking:
Command line: _AstM5CheckCollision
The clash volume is displayed in red in the model. You should be able to see what is wrong and make the necessary corrections in the model.
Best practice
Run the clash check after every one or two corrected collisions.
