Search filters can be named and saved as queries for future use. The list of existing queries is displayed in the Query list of the Project Explorer.
You can use a saved query in two ways:
- To highlight the set of elements: Double click the name of the query to execute it immediately. The matching objects are highlighted.
- To isolate a set of elements: Turn the light bulb on (click on it). Only the matching objects are displayed. Objects that do not match the criteria are hidden. No model objects are highlighted and existing markings are not affected. Turning the light bulb off displays all elements of the model.
Each time a saved query is executed, the complete model is searched again and a new search result is displayed.
Note: If you change the properties of objects while the results of search are displayed the results are not updated until the search is executed again.
