You can use the parameters to change the weld preparation type and properties.

Type

Defines the shape of the weld preparation. The following options are available:

• Straight: Creates a chamfered weld preparation.
• Convex: Creates a convex fillet weld preparation.
• Concave: Creates a concave fillet weld preparation.

According to the selection, the corresponding parameters are displayed:

Straight weld preparation

Convex or Concave fillet weld preparation

Radius

Defines the fillet radius.
