This tool determines the grip length and thus the length of the bolts of a bolt pattern by selecting the objects to connect. A logical connection between the objects is created.
The result is displayed graphically and the values are used by the bolt properties dialog box.
To access the command?
Ribbon: Objects > Connection objects: 
Command line: ASTORCHANGEBINDINGLENGTH
To calculate the grip length
- On the
Objects
tab,
Connection objects
panel: Click .
- Select the bolts for which to calculate the grip length and press <Enter>.
- Select the elements to connect and press <Enter>.
- The bolt length is adjusted.
