Shrink or enlarge

You can shrink or enlarge polygon plates. You must select one or more plates and enter a dimension. A negative value shrinks the plate while a positive value enlarges the plate.

To access the command

Ribbon: Objects > Plates:

Command line: _AstM4CommPlatesShrink

To shrink polygon plates

1. On the Objects tab, Plates panel: Click .
2. Select one or more plates to shrink and press <Enter>.
3. On the command line, input a negative value to shrink the plates.
4. Press <Enter>.

The plate edges move in a perpendicular direction by the entered dimension.

To enlarge polygon plates

1. On the Objects tab, Plate panel: Click .
2. Select one or more plates to enlarge and press <Enter>.
3. On the command line, input a positive value to enlarge the plates. Press <Enter>.
