You can automatically create analytical nodes for each beam end using the Create nodes for entire model command, located in the Extended Modeling tab > Nodes panel.
When using this command, existing nodes will be deleted and new ones will be created. The application warns you about this with the following message:
If you choose "Yes", the analytical nodes will be created at each beam end.
You can also create individual nodes with the Create node command, located in the Extended Modeling tab > Nodes panel.
In the following image shows what the command bar (platform input requirements) displays when manually creating an analytical node between two beams.
The command requires:
You can manually add beams to an analytical node or remove them, using the Add beams to node and Remove beams from node commands, located in the Extended Modeling tab > Nodes panel.
Regardless of which of the two commands you use, you need to first select the beam and then the node.
