With this tool you can check the objects in relation to their connecting elements. For example, you can easily detect weld points placed far away from the objects you want to weld.
On executing, you select one or several elements, the related connecting elements are highlighted and their number for each selected element are displayed in a text window.
Tips:
- It is recommended to remove all previous markings to avoid a confusing result.
- The highlighted objects can be pointed with arrows by using the tool Search marked objects.
To access the command
Selection tool palette:

To use the command
- Selection tool palette: Click .
- Select one or several elements (beams, plates etc) and press <Enter>.
- The connecting elements are highlighted. The quantities of each selected element are displayed in a text window.
