Insert an axis group into another group

Using this tool, you can insert axes in an axis group. The number of axes and the distance between them are required values.

To access the command

Ribbon: Objects > Grid :

Command line: _AstM4CommGridInsertSequence

To insert an axis group into another group

1. On the Objects tab, Grid panel: Click .
2. Click the grid axis after which the group is to be inserted and press <Enter>.
3. Specify the number of axes and press <Enter>.
4. Specify the distance between axes and press <Enter>.

• The axis group is inserted.

Note:

• The length of the existing axis sequence is increased by the amount of the new single distances.
• If automatic labeling is activated then the new single axes adjust themselves to the order of the labeling.
• This function can be executed at more than one selected axis groups simultaneously.
