You can now control the defaults for AMDETAIL detail views with detail view styles.
AutoCAD 2013 implemented the ability to control the appearance of model documentation detail views with detail view styles. AutoCAD Mechanical 2014 extends this ability to detail views drawn with the AMDETAIL command. This ensures the use of the same drafting standard settings for model documentation detail views and AMDETAIL detail views.
