Changes to AutoCAD Civil 3D Drawing Templates

The following changes have been made to the drawing templates for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017.

Tip: The import styles and settings feature may assist you in updating your existing drawing templates with the new settings and styles.
General Settings
Feature Description
Multipurpose Styles New styles:
  • Code Set Style: All Codes - No Display
  • Link Style: _No Display
  • Point Style: _No Markers
  • Shape Style: _No Display

Corridor Settings
Feature Description
Feature Settings Feature Line Connection Option:
  • Feature Lines Cross Baseline: Yes

Command Settings: CreateCorridorReference Default Styles:
  • Alignment Style: Proposed
  • Code Set Style: All Codes - No Display
  • Alignment Label Set: _No Labels
Command Settings: ExportCorridorToSolids Default Name Format:
  • Layer Name Template: SOLID - <[Corridor Name]> - <[Codes]>
Command Settings: FeatureLinesFromCorridor Default Name Format:
  • Feature Line Name Template: FL - <[Corridor Name]> - <[Corridor Feature Code]> - <[Next Counter]>

Property Set Definitions
Feature Description
Property Set Definitions New property set definitions provided for use with the Extract Corridor Solids command:
  • Corridor Model Information
  • Corridor Property Data - User Defined
  • Corridor Shape Information
