There are cases in which you may not want to automatically switch the AJA SDI preview to the focused application. For example, a Lustre colorist may want to modify a Batch effect without the people present in the finishing suite seeing the modification being made, but only the result. This is achieved as follows:
In Flame / Flare
- From the Broadcast Monitor Preferences menu, disable the Auto SDI Acquire option. You can also select the No Preview option from the SDI Timing drop down to release the SDI Preview.
- From the Audio Preferences menu, disable Enable Audio.
- From the Viewing Options menu in Batch, use the SDI Preview button to enable / disable SDI Preview. The Monitor button located in the Batch Viewport can also be used to enable / disable SDI Preview
In Lustre
- From the Editing / Playout menu, disable the Auto SDI Acquire button.
