To Create Generalized Features

To create a generalized feature

1. In the Maintenance workspace, open an industry model drawing or an enterprise industry model project.
2. Click Home tab > Data Source panel.
3. From the Representation list, select the generalization to work on.
4. In the Industry Model explorer, right-click the attribute feature class for the generalized feature.
5. Click Digitize or Digitize With Form.
6. Draw the generalized feature in the map.

   When prompted, select the real-world feature class that corresponds to the generalized feature.
