You can view industry model data in feature class forms in Table or in Form mode. Use Filter mode to search for records containing specific values. Use Edit mode to enter or change values.
When you enter a value in a form box, the color of the input fields and the icons change to indicate the mode. The Feature Class Form Shortcut Menus also change depending on the current mode. If you change to Edit mode, all filters are deactivated.

The start modes control the number of records that are loaded when you open a form.
