To Generate a Coordinate Report

To print a coordinate report

  1. In the Maintenance workspace, open an industry model drawing or an enterprise industry model project.
  2. Select an industry model in the Industry Model explorer.
  3. For an enterprise industry model, click Home tab > Display panel > Generate Graphic.
  4. Select a viewport that contains the points to print.
  5. Select the industry model, right-click, and click Export Coordinate Export.
    Note:

    If you use Output tab Reports and Profiles panel Open Report, the filter methods are not available and the report lists all points of the industry model.

  6. In the Coordinate Export Workflow pane, expand the Filter Feature Class control.
  7. Under Selected, select the point feature classes to include in the selection method you use.
  8. In the workflow pane, click Select In Map .
  9. In the drawing, select the points. Press <Enter> to finish the selection.
  10. In the Coordinate Export Workflow pane, expand the Review And Modify Selection control. The explorer displays the selected points.
  11. Review the points and click OK.
  12. Select Generate Report.
  13. Select the report template.
  14. Click OK.
  15. In the Report Preview dialog box, click ASCII.
  16. Save the file.
Note:

The Generate Report option is active only if your system administrator has provided a report template.

To import a coordinate export report template

  1. In Infrastructure Administrator , open an industry model drawing or an enterprise industry model project.
  2. Select an industry model in the Industry Model explorer.
  3. Click Industry Model menu Report Designer.
  4. In the Report Designer dialog box, click Report menu Import/Export Import XML Report Definition.
  5. Select the report definition file (*.XML), for example, CoordinateExportReport.xml.
  6. Exit the Report Designer.
