CAD meshing can now be done on Linux machines.
With previous versions, CAD surface meshing jobs were only possible on Windows platforms. With Moldflow Insight 2017.3, CAD meshing jobs can be submitted directly to Linux servers, providing you with access to the same functionality as you have on a Windows machine. This feature is supported for the following mesh types:
Dual Domain
3D
CAD meshing on Linux is supported for RedHat 6.5/CentOS 6.5 or higher.
Limitations
Mesh for 3D channels is not supported on Linux.
