Arc Intersection Workflow

Sample workflow for intersection and tangent calculation:

1. In Infrastructure Application Extension, in the Construction toolbar click Arc Intersection.
2. In the map, select the center of arc 1.
3. Select the radius of arc 1.
4. Select the center of arc 2.
5. Select the radius of arc 2.
6. In the construction dialog box, select the feature class.
7. Click in the Intersection 1 row to switch the intersection type to Tangentials.
8. To calculate an arc, in the Tangent line, enter a radius for the tangents.

   The feature class list box now shows the available line string feature classes.

9. Click in the Intersection 1 row to switch the intersection type to Points.
10. From the menu bar, choose FileSave to save both results.

    You can now quit or calculate other intersections.

11. Click New to reset the arc intersection parameters. Select new elements in the map.
