You can display the values of attribute channels as color ramps, numeric values, or vectors in the viewport. This lets you analyze or diagnose your simulation.

The attributes that you can display depend on the type of simulation. For example, you can visualize
		  Vorticity or
		  Churn in liquids and
Smoke in Aero simulations. Some attributes like
		  Position and
Velocity are updated by the simulation, while others are set in the
emitterProps attributes and are transported along with the particles.

		Display diagnostic colors

		  - In the
				Display attribute group of the
				bifrostShape node, choose
				Particles or
				Voxels as desired.

- Activate
				Color in the
				Particle Display or
				Voxel Display group as appropriate.

- Select the
Channel to display. For vector attributes like position and velocity, the magnitude is used to drive the color ramp.

- Expand
				Color Channel Remap, and set
				Color Channel Min and
Color Channel Max to the range you want. Values outside this range get clamped to the limits of the color ramp.

- Use the color ramp to define a gradient for display.

- If desired, use the value ramp to remap channel values before applying the color ramp. For example, you can clamp and bias values to focus on a subrange of values.

Tip: You can use the
			 Clipping attributes under
Bifrost Controls to preview a slice of the shape.

		Display numeric values or vectors

		  - In the
				Display attribute group of the
				bifrostShape node, make sure that
				Particles is selected.

- In the
				Particle Display group, select
				Numeric or
				Vector.

- Select the channel to display.

Tip: Decrease
Max Particle Display Count to make it easier to read values.
