Import and export files on the cloud

To access your files stored on the cloud

  1. Select File > Cloud Import/Export.
  2. In the Cloud Import and Export window that appears, select the tab for the cloud storage solution you use: A360, 123D, or Dropbox, then click Login.
  3. Enter the login information for your existing account.

    Once you're logged in to your external account, the Cloud Import and Export window acts as a native file browser, letting you navigate and select files for import or export.

  4. Navigate to select the file you want to import.
  5. (Optional) To open the Import Options and change the settings to apply to the downloaded file, enable Show Import Options after downloading the file.

To export files to cloud storage

  1. (Optional) Select only the objects you want to export.
  2. Switch to the Export tab at the bottom of the Cloud Import and Export window.
  3. Select the file format you want to export from the Files of type drop-down menu, enter a file name, then click Export All, or Export Selection.

    You can also click the settings icon to open the Export All Options. The settings available change depending on the file format you specify as the Files of type.
