When you load a file created in Maya into Maya LT, any unsupported nodes in the file are removed from the scene as it loads.
For example, if you open or import a scene from Maya that includes file references, all referenced objects are automatically imported into the scene.
Maya LT supports a maximum of two animation layers on top of the
BaseAnimation. If you open or import a Maya file that contains more than two animation layers, or if importing more animation layers into your scene exceeds the maximum, Maya LT merges the animation and removes the layers.
