Playing macros or scripts using the menu

You can play a macro or a Visual Basic script either in the user interface or by using the software command line.

Note: You must use the software command line if the script requires command line arguments unless the script prompts for user input.

1. Select (Tools tab > Automation panel > Play Macro ).
2. Select a macro/script, then select Open.

   By default, macros are located in My Documents\My AMI 20xx Projects\scripts, where xxxx is the software release number.

   By default, command line scripts are located in the default project directory, typically My Documents\My AMI 20xx Projects\commands, or in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Moldflow Synergy 20xx\data\commands, (where xxxx is the software release number.
