Cloud Credits are tokens that you buy from
Autodesk, that enable you to run your
Moldflow Insight jobs on the cloud.
All products and services purchased on the same contract pool their cloud credits together. You can purchase more credits independently, although you must be careful to purchase them on the relevant contract. Some contracts allow an unlimited number of users access to cloud services. For general information about
Autodesk
cloud credits, see the
Cloud Credits FAQs.
Purchase of
cloud credits
Cloud Credits are purchased either through a reseller, or from the
Autodesk store through your
Autodesk Account, or from your
Autodesk sales representative.
If you buy your
cloud credits through your reseller, make sure that the
cloud credits are purchased on the same contract as the original
Moldflow Insight admin entitlement.
To purchase through the
Autodesk eStore, visit
https://accounts.autodesk.com. Go to your
Autodesk Account and select Get
Cloud Credits from the
Usage Report page for the desired contract. This selection takes you through a guided purchase experience.
Note: Only contract administrators or software coordinators can buy
cloud credits.
Cost of jobs
In
Moldflow Insight, each job has a defined cost. Each analysis is a job. If you run an analysis sequence, the cost of the sequence is the sum of the individual analyses. For example, an analysis sequence that includes Cool, Fill+Pack, and Warp is considered to be 3 separate jobs.
Note: The cost of a design of experiments (DOE) or parametric analysis is calculated based on the size of the job. The more analyses that are required, the more the DOE or parametric analysis costs. Check the
Cloud Credits FAQs for more information on the cost of jobs.
