The Multiple-Barrel Reactive Molding (RIM-MBI) analysis allows you to simulate a maximum of ten independent injection cylinders for a Reactive Molding analysis on a Midplane model.
To set the multiple injection barrel location, you need to first set a regular injection location. The following topic described how to set the multiple injection barrel location and perform the analysis.
(), or, double-click the injection location icon in the Study Tasks pane, and set the injection location on the model. Right-click and select Finish Set Injection Locations when you are done.
() and define the MIB Injection Location to the same point as the Injection Location. Right-click the mouse and select Finish when you are done.
Process Settings in the Study Tasks pane and specify the analysis settings. The process settings will apply to all injection locations.
