The <factor> element

The <factor> section defines the display of the Variables tables in the builders, using content from the Process Settings Wizard, and an automatic loading system.

One major difference in this section between the DOE builder and Parametric study builder, is that the Parametric study builder does not have profiles (X,Y curves) as variables. The <factor> section is used to:

• rename those variables whose names are not compatible with the automatic loading system,
• define the format of the variables when none can be found, for example, for "Automatic injection time",
• exclude variables that cannot be processed by the optimization tools or under specific conditions,
• force the automatic range definition instead of the default +/-20%.
