Modify CAD Surfaces - Vector Dialog

The Modify CAD Surfaces - Vector tool allows you to displace an entire section following a vector.

To access this tool, click (Geometry tab > Modify panel > CAD Surfaces > Vector).

Widget	Explanation
Apply	Commits the geometry change.
Select CAD faces	The list of the faces that you selected on the graphic display. These are the faces you wish to modify
Search	Automatically detects fillet and chamfer faces related to the selected faces.
Fillet/chamfer faces	Lists the fillet and chamfer faces related to the selected faces. You can: Accept the list provided by Search function, or Select the faces on the graphic display, or Enter the face ID numbers.
Preserve shape of fillets/chamfers faces	Checked by default. This option enables the preservation of the shape of fillets and chamfers around the Selected CAD faces.
Vector (x,y,z)	Enter the vector along which you want to move the selected faces.
Preview	Displays the changes to the CAD geometry on the graphic display without applying them to the model.
Save CAD modification	Enables the geometry modification to be recognized as a CAD modification Variable for a Parametric Study. This CAD modification Variable includes the Selected CAD faces and the direction of the Vector (x,y,z) specified for the current CAD geometry modification. Choose a recognizable name for the geometry modification you are saving. Once saved, this geometry modification will appear in the CAD modifications list on the Geometry ribbon for future reference.
