Batch queue

The batch queue is a feature that allows you to submit a sequence of analysis jobs and start, or run them, at a later time. You can also pause (or stop) the batch queue if required. The batch queue also allows you to limit the number of jobs running concurrently by setting the Batch queue concurrent job limit setting for a server. This limit only applies for jobs submitted to a batch queue.

Batch queues are associated with specific server machines. To access the batch queue set-up, open the Server Management tool of the Simulation Job Manager, select the relevant server, and click Configure.

Start batch queue

Start At
Tells the server that you want to start the batch queue at the specified time and date.
Note: If a job reaches the top of the queue, and requires a licence that is currently reserved, the job manager will wait until the license becomes unreserved.
