Use the Connection tool to select elements and place a generic connection.
You can place a structural connection, using the Connection tool, located in the Structure tab > Connection panel:
You can use the Connection tool to select the elements that need to be joined. When you use the Connection tool, a message is displayed in the taskbar, describing the selection options:
When you finish the selection, press Enter to create a Generic Connection. The Generic Connection is a symbolic representation of the connection:
