Images and animations captured within the Results environment, and included within a report, are an effective way to visually convey the results of your analyses. Tools for capturing results images and creating results animations are located within the Captures panel, included under the following three ribbon tabs:
- Results Contours
- Results Inquire
- Results Options
Note: The Save Image command is also available within the Tools tab of the ribbon (Tools
Utilities Save Image). This command is present within the Results environment and the FEA Editor. Use the latter access point to capture images of the model setup.

(Application Menu) Export Image is equivalent to the Save Image command and is also available in both the FEA Editor and the Results environment.
Similarly, (Application Menu) Export Animation is equivalent to the Save As AVI command. The Export Animation command is only available in the Results environment.
