The spline solver creates a curve that goes through each point with smooth transitions. You can create open or closed splines.

1. In the Sketch drop-down list, click Curves Spline.
2. Click to place the starting point for the spline.

   To create a spline that is tangent to another line, arc, or spline, click an endpoint of the line or spline, and drag away from it. When the tangent line indicator displays, release the mouse.

3. Continue to place points to define the spline.

   Click the start point of the spline to create a closed spline.

4. Right-click and then select OK.

Edit spline

• Select the spline to display the curvature handles. Drag the end points of the handles to adjust curvature.
• Select the spline and then right-click to access spline options.

Work with spline curvature

• To control the display of the spline curvature comb, select a spline and then right-click, and click Toggle Curvature Display.
• To control the density and scale of the curvature comb, use the Setup Curvature Display dialog box.
