To Import a Material Catalog

1. In the Material Catalog, click Import Catalog.
2. To connect to the catalog data source, do either of the following:
   • Click Add File-Based Sources. Navigate to the catalog source file to import and then click Open.
   • Click Add FDO Connection Sources To Convert. Click the data source and then click OK.
     Note: You must be connected to a data source before you begin the Import Catalog operation. To connect to a data source, click Home tabProject Area panelBase MapAdd Base Map.
3. Create mappings from the columns and fields in the incoming catalog data to corresponding category names and items used in the Material Catalog.
4. When you have mapped the incoming columns and fields to the Material Catalog categories and items, click Import.
