To Extract and Merge Data

You can extract data into Utility Design from any Map 3D industry model or FDO source and merge Utility Design features and updated Map 3D features back into a Map 3D industry model or FDO source.

  1. Click Home tabProject AreaExtract Existing.
  2. Specify an area of interest in the drawing.

    Source features are imported into the drawing and converted to Utility Design features.

    If you already have GIS features in the drawing, you can select features to convert and click Extract Existing. The selected features are converted to Utility Design features.

  3. After you have made changes, click Home tabProject AreaMerge Changes.
