About AutoCAD Utility Design Commands

AutoCAD Utility Design adds its own unique design commands to the AutoCAD and Map 3D command set. You get all the power and design capabilities of AutoCAD, the spatial context needed for mapping with Map 3D, and the design layout, validation, and analysis functionality of Utility Design.

Commands can be accessed using a variety of methods:

• Enter a command in the drawing area or on the command line.
• Select the command from a menu.
• Click the toolbar icon for the command.
• Right-click an object in the drawing or an item in a Task Pane and select the command from the shortcut menu
