IIS Default Port Check

Checks that IIS is running on port 80.

If this check fails, set the IIS TCP port number to 80.

Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2

  1. Go to Start and open Administrative Tools.
  2. Double-click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  3. In the Internet Information Services dialog box, expand local computer ►Sites and right click Default Website and select Bindings.
  4. Select the http setting and click Edit.
  5. Change the port number to 80 and click OK.

Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10

  1. Go to Control Panel and click System and Security.
  2. Click Administrative Tools.
  3. Double-click Internet Information Services.
  4. In the Internet Information Services dialog box, expand local computer ►Sites.
  5. Right-click Default Website and select Edit Bindings.
  6. Select the http setting and click Edit.
  7. Change the port number to 80 and click OK.
Note: The option to install the Vault Server using a different port is available with Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
