Use this menu option to draw a line on a bitmap layer using the primary or secondary colour.
Note: The
Draw Bitmap Line

button on the
Design Tools toolbar is a shortcut for this menu option. The availability of this button and toolbar is license dependent
To draw a bitmap line:
- In the Project Tree, select the bitmap layer on which you want to draw.
- Select the colour you want to use.
- Select
Bitmap > Draw Bitmap Line or click
. The
Tool Settings: Draw Bitmap Line panel is displayed.
- To change the shape of the brush used to create the line, click the Change Brush Shape icon beside the slider. You can switch between a round
and a square
tip.
- Click and drag the slider to specify the size of the brush.
- Move the cursor
over the area of the bitmap layer in which you want to draw a bitmap line, and then drag. A preview line is displayed.
Note: If you are working in the 3D view, ensure that
Display Bitmap

in the
3D View toolbar is toggled on.
- Release the mouse button to draw the bitmap line on the selected bitmap layer.
Tip: To draw a bitmap line in the secondary colour, press the
Shift key when you release the mouse button.
