BasicKerb

This subassembly creates a simple kerb at the edge of carriageway. It can be attached to either outside edge of pavement or to the edge of a central reserve on the inside.

This subassembly is one of a group of Getting Started subassemblies used for simple carriageway modeling, and for tutorial and training purposes.

Attachment

The attachment point is on the front face of the kerb for case 1, and on the back face of the kerb for case 2.

Input Parameters

Note: All dimensions are in meters or feet unless otherwise noted. All slopes are in run-over-rise form (for example, 4 : 1) unless indicated as a percent slope with a “%” sign.

Target Parameters

This section lists the parameters in this subassembly that can be mapped to one or more target objects. For more information, see To Specify Corridor Targets.

Target Parameters: None.

Output Parameters

None.

Behavior

The subassembly builds a rectangular shape for a simple kerb, with the attachment point at the bottom inside edge of kerb.

Layout Mode Operation

In layout mode, this subassembly draws the kerb shape as specified by the input parameters.
