Use 2D machining toolpaths when you want to machine 2D shapes.
ArtCAM includes several types of 2D toolpath for rough- and finish-machining. Use a rough-machining toolpath, such as area clearance, for removing bulk material; and use a finish-machining toolpath, such as carving or fluting, for smoothing surfaces.
