You can import reliefs from ArtCAM proprietary files, such as .rlf and .art, and from image files, such as .pix, .bmp, .dib, .rle, .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .gif, .emf, .wmf, .tif, .tiff, .png, .ico, .wmf, and .emf.
To import a file as a relief:
- Select the 3D View tab to display the 3D view.
- In the Project Tree, select the relief layer on which you want to work.
- Select Relief > Import > Import. The Relief Import dialog is displayed.
- Select the file you want to import.
- If you selected a .bmp, .dib, .rle, .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .gif, .emf, .wmf, .tif, .tiff, .png, or .ico file, specify the relief's maximum Z height in the Max. Z box.
- Click Open. The Open dialog closes, the relief is shown in the 3D view, and the Tool Settings: Transform panel is displayed.
- Use the panel to specify the relief's size, scale, position, orientation, and shape.
