Moving vectors

Using the Move area of the Tool Settings: Transform panel, you can enter precise coordinates to reposition a vector.

To move a vector to a specific position:

1. Select the vector.
2. Click the Transform button.
3. Ensure the transform origin by which you want to move the selected vector is in the correct position.
4. In the X and Y boxes, enter the distances along the X and Y axes by which you want to move the selected vector.
   Note: A positive X value moves the selected vector to the right; a negative X value moves the selected vector to the left. A positive Y value moves the selected vector upwards; a negative Y value moves the selected vector downwards.
5. Click Apply to reposition the selected vector, or Cancel to cancel the move.
   Note: Hold down Ctrl when clicking Apply to keep a copy of the selected vector it in its original position.
