Use this menu option to paint a line around the edge of any colour on a bitmap layer. Marking the outline of a colour on a bitmap layer in this way means that its shape is preserved when converted into vector artwork or three-dimensional shapes.
To mark the edges of a particular colour:
- In the Project Tree, select the bitmap layer on which you want to mark edges.
- Set the primary and secondary colours.
- Use either of the following methods to paint a line in the secondary colour around all regions of the selected bitmap layer made up of the primary colour:
- Select
Bitmaps > Colour > Mark Edge.
- Right-click in the immediate area surrounding the
Palette to display its context-menu, and then select
Mark Edge.
