Using the Origin position area of the Tool Settings: Transform panel, you can transform a selected vector relative to a specified origin.
To set the transform origin by which you want to reposition, resize or rotate a selected vector:
- Select the vector you want to transform.
- Click the
Transform
button.
- In the
Origin Position section, the co-ordinates in the
X
and
Y boxes show the current position of the transform origin. Set the new origin about which you want to transform the selected vector in one of the following ways:
- Select one of the nine options on the rectangle diagram to set the origin to one of nine pre-set positions. The coordinates of the selected position are displayed in the X and Y boxes.
- In the X and Y boxes, enter the X and Y co-ordinates of the position you want to set as the origin, then click Apply to set the transform origin.
You can now transform the selected vectors about this origin.
