To Change the Appearance of Cell Borders

  1. Click inside the table cell you want to change.

    Hold down Shift and click inside another cell. All cells between the two cells will be selected.

  2. Right-click and select Borders...
  3. In the Cell Border Properties dialog box, select a lineweight, linetype and color. To specify a double line border, select Double Line.

    Use BYBLOCK to set the border properties to match the settings in the table style.

  4. Click one of the border type buttons to specify which borders of the cell to modify, or select a border in the preview image.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Press Esc to remove selection.
