Identifier and Arrows Tab (Section View Style Manager)

List of Options

The following options are displayed.

Identifier

Controls the format of identifiers on section lines.

Text Style
Sets the text style to use for identifiers.
Text color
Sets the color to use for identifiers. If you click Select Color (at the bottom of the Color list), the Select Color dialog box is displayed. You can also enter a color name or number.
Text height
Sets the height of identifiers.
Exclude characters
Sets the characters that must not be used as identifiers.
Show identifier at all bends
When selected, displays section line identifiers at all bends.
Use continuous labelling
When selected, names end and bends with consecutive letters of the alphabet.
Show direction arrows
When selected, displays direction arrows at the end points of section lines.
Start symbol
Sets the arrowhead type to use at the start of the section line.
End symbol
Sets the arrowhead type to use at the end of the section line.
Symbol color
Sets the color to use for direction arrows. Both direction arrows uses the same color. If you click Select Color (at the bottom of the Color list), the Select Color dialog box is displayed. You can also enter a color name or number.
Symbol size
Sets the size of the arrowheads. You can select a typical size from the list, or enter any numeric value for the size. The program validates the value you enter to prevent you from specifying invalid values.
Extension length
Sets the length of the extension lines used by the direction arrows.
Identifier position
Sets the position and alignment of the section line identifier.
Identifier offset
Sets the distance to offset the section line identifier from the position specified by the Identifier position setting.
Arrow direction
Specifies whether the direction arrows should point towards the cutting plane or away from the cutting plane.

Direction arrows

Controls the format of the direction arrows on the section line.

Arrangement

Controls the placement of section line identifiers and direction arrows, in relation to the start and end point of the section line.
Note: The arrangement is also controlled by the projection angle (first or third).
