To Set the Type of Object Snap (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. In the Options dialog box, select the AM:Preferences tab.
3. From the Snap Settings list, select a type of setting for object snaps.
4. In the Options dialog box, choose OK.
