To Configure the Default Symbol Type for Surface Texture Symbols (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. In the Options dialog box, click the AM:Standards tab.
3. In the Standard Elements list, double-click the Surface Texture symbol.
4. In the Symbol type section, select the options to set as default.
5. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
