To Dimension a Shaft in Front View (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. Click Home tabDimension panelPower Dimension drop-downMultiple Dimension. Find
2. In the Automatic Dimensioning dialog box, Shaft/Symmetric tab, from the Type list select Shaft (Front view).
3. Verify that the Display dimension text editor for every dimension check box is cleared.
4. Click OK.
5. Select the objects to dimension, and press ENTER.
6. Select the centerline (1).
7. Specify the dimension line location (2).
8. Press ENTER.
