To Define the Center Point of a Rectangle (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. Draw a square with a side of 10 units.
2. Click Home tabDraw panelCircle drop-downCenter, Radius. Find
3. At the Command prompt, enter AMPSNAPCEN.
4. Select the first side (1).
5. Select the second side (2).
6. At the Command prompt, enter R for Relation.
7. Press ENTER.
8. When prompted for the relation to the first edge enter 0.2.
9. For the relation to the second edge enter 0.8.
10. Enter 5 for the radius.

Note: For the reference ratio, you can also enter negative values and values greater than one.
