To Prevent Hole Labels From Changing When You Delete or Move Holes (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
2. In the Options dialog box, click the AM:Standards tab.
3. In the Standard Elements list, double-click Hole Chart. The Hole Chart Settings dialog box appears.

5. In the Sorting style section, select the Use sorting style check box.
6. In the Name list, select User item order.
7. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
