To Create a User-Defined Component Property (AutoCAD Mechanical)
At the Command prompt, enter
AMOPTIONS
.
In the Options dialog box, select the AM:Standards tab.
In the Standard Elements list, double-click BOM. The BOM Settings dialog box is displayed.
Click New. The program positions the insertion point in the first column of the last row in the Available component properties list.
Add data to the new row, column by column. The program adds the new property to the Available component properties list as well as the BOM tab.
Use the Move up or Move down buttons to position the property.
Click OK.
